The Legal Practice Behind Society.Law
Advocate Omkar M. Sapre
Advocate Omkar M. Sapre is a practicing advocate with a focused practice in Co-operative Housing Society matters, Real Estate Laws, Corporate Advisory, Civil Litigation and Writ Jurisdiction, with practice before the Bombay High Court and Co-operative Courts.
An alumnus of ILS Law College, Pune, he holds a First Class MBA in Finance from the Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University (PUMBA), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Pune University.
Before entering the legal profession, he built a multidisciplinary professional career spanning journalism, banking, corporate administration and management. As a journalist, he worked with leading publications including The Economic Times, Mid-Day and Maharashtra Herald, covering co-operative societies, business, infrastructure, governance and civic administration.
He subsequently worked with The SVC Co-operative Bank Ltd., where his experience included banking operations and services relating to co-operative housing societies, including society accounts, maintenance collection systems and financial processes. He also held senior management responsibilities at BVG India Limited, with responsibilities spanning administration, strategic coordination and management.
Drawing upon this multidisciplinary experience, Adv. Sapre advises and represents co-operative housing societies, companies, office bearers and individual clients in matters relating to co-operative laws, redevelopment, deemed conveyance, contracts, tenders, regulatory compliance, wills, private trusts, civil disputes and commercial litigation.
He also appears as arguing counsel before Co-operative Courts, Consumer Forums, Civil Courts and the Bombay High Court, with a practice centred on detailed drafting, legal analysis, procedural strategy and practical problem-solving.
